Origin
Sourcing at the source
We work directly with the private farms of China and Taiwan that grow the leaf, and buy where it is grown. Removing the chain of traders between the bush and the cup is what keeps both the price and the provenance honest.

Selection
Tasting and selection
Before anything is bought in volume, it is cupped. We select by the leaf in the cup, not the name on the sack — grading for aroma, liquor, and consistency so that what ships is what was tasted.

Production
Production and private label
